Choosing your shade
Light greys and silvers open up a room and suit smaller spaces or darker floors. Mid-greys are the practical middle ground and hide everyday wear well. Charcoal and slate add depth and weight, grounding a large room or a pale sofa — for the darkest tones, browse charcoal and black rugs.
Warm greys and cool greys
Look at the undertone. Cool, blue-leaning greys pair with white walls, chrome, navy and crisp modern interiors. Warm greys — greige, taupe, stone — sit better with wood floors, brass and cream. Many of our grey rugs combine both with accents of ivory, blue or ochre, which makes them easy to tie into existing colour.
Sheen and texture
Silver-toned rugs often include viscose, which catches the light and shifts in tone as you move around the room. It's beautiful in living rooms and bedrooms; for high-traffic areas, choose a wool or durable synthetic blend instead.
Sizes run from small accent rugs to large and extra-large, with made-to-order sizes available on many designs.
