Silchester is a soft damask in an Arts and Crafts style: subtle outlines of leaves bounded in a frame of hand-drawn lines. The pattern is screen printed onto a cotton handloom ground, in a very pale sage.
It is a light, flat rug with a gently faded look — ideal where you want pattern that barely whispers.
