Marimekko Kalasääski Light Green 134007

Kalasääski — Finnish for osprey — is one of the many striped designs Maija Isola created for Marimekko: a freehand pattern of vertical and diagonal stripes. On the rug, fine lime-green lines sweep down a pale ground and kink sideways at intervals, like reeds bending in water.

Light Green is fresh and bright without being loud, and good at lifting a plain room.
