The classic Unikko layout, with ivory poppies, dusty-pink centres and little black buds scattered across a warm beige ground. Soft enough for a bedroom, but unmistakably Marimekko.

Maija Isola painted Unikko in 1964, after Marimekko's founder Armi Ratia had banned flower patterns — Isola's answer was a whole collection of graphic, pop-art florals, and Unikko has been printed continuously ever since.
