Grey-taupe poppies with pale centres and small black buds on an ivory ground — the neutral version of Unikko, and the easiest to fit into an existing scheme.
Maija Isola painted Unikko in 1964, after Marimekko's founder Armi Ratia had banned flower patterns — Isola's answer was a whole collection of graphic, pop-art florals, and Unikko has been printed continuously ever since.
