Hand-knotted in Nepal from 100% Tibetan wool. Each knot is tied by hand onto the warp rather than punched into a backing, which is why there is no latex layer and no secondary backing — the rug is wool all the way through. That construction is the reason hand-knotted rugs are repairable and, kept well, generational.
