Montreal sits between the two halves of the Morris & Co. rug collection: hand-knotted like the Nepalese pieces, but woven flat rather than with a pile, so the design has the crispness of a printed textile and almost none of the height.
The Forest colourway carries it in deep green. At roughly 7 mm total it sits low enough for a dining room, and the flatweave structure means it can be turned and used from either face as it wears.
