Pimpernel was designed by William Morris in 1876 and hung in the dining room of his home, Kelmscott House. Large tulips and scrolling leaves turn around small pimpernel flowers in a symmetrical repeat.
Indigo sets straw-gold tulips and blue-green leaves against a deep indigo ground — rich and very traditional.
