Strawberry Thief is the design William Morris is best known for — thrushes stealing fruit from the kitchen garden at Kelmscott Manor, drawn in 1883. The birds face each other in mirrored pairs beneath arching foliage, with the strawberries picked out between them. This is the Crimson colourway.
