Anaar takes its name from the Hindi word for pomegranate, a symbol of life, and the design sets stylised pomegranates and leaves into a repeating stripe. It is one of the few Sanderson rugs that is botanical and geometric at once — the fruit gives it warmth, the stripe keeps it orderly.
The Flax colourway is the softer of the two, working in pale gold and natural tones that suit a room where a strong colour would be too much.
