Ancient Canopy is an impressionist woodland scene — old trees with arched, bowing branches closing overhead, drawing the eye through to a secluded glade beyond. It is the most atmospheric design Sanderson make in rug form, and it reads as landscape rather than pattern.
Forest Green deepens the effect considerably; the rug behaves almost like a dark pool in a room, which suits a space with good natural light.
Hand-tufted with a cut pile in pure new wool and viscose, manufactured for Sanderson by Brink & Campman. Four sizes — 200 x 140 cm, 240 x 170 cm, 280 x 200 cm, 350 x 250 cm — with special sizes on request from £389 per square metre. Free UK delivery.
