Linnean is framed by a playfully geometric border echoing patterns from classical antiquity — a key-fret idea, loosened up. The border does the work here: it gives the rug a defined edge, which is useful in a room where the floor is otherwise busy.
The Porcelain colourway sets it in smart contrasting tones, quiet enough to sit under patterned upholstery without argument.
Hand-tufted with a cut and loop pile in pure new wool and viscose, made for Sanderson by Brink & Campman. The two pile heights are what make the border read as a distinct band rather than just a change of colour.
200 x 140 cm to 350 x 250 cm in four sizes, special sizes on request from £389 per square metre. Free UK delivery.
