Shalimar is a tree of life — one of Sanderson's bold historic designs, with exuberant trailing flora and fauna climbing across the rug. It is the most narrative piece in the collection: there is a great deal to look at, and it rewards a room where people sit still.
Reinterpreted here in hues of China Blue, which keeps a busy design coherent by holding it to a single family of tones.
Hand-tufted with a cut pile in pure new wool and viscose — the viscose gives the paler elements their lift. Four sizes from 200 x 140 cm to 350 x 250 cm, special sizes on request from £389 per square metre. Free UK delivery.
